I just read that the Quakes have worked out a multi-year deal with Nick Garcia. This is great news. Nick was the foundation of our defense and a team leader in 2008. I still can vividly remember Nick suffering a head injury in the game this past year. He trotted off, got his head bandaged up (he looked like he came out of a M*A*S*H unit) and he went on to play the rest of the game.
